Michael C.
Jones,
President,
Northwest Ohio
Legal Research, LLC
Michael
C. Jones, a native of
Baltimore, Maryland, graduated from
Capital University (Columbus,
Ohio), with a BA in Political Science
(Cum Laude) in 1974. He
graduated from Capital
University
Law School
in
the fall of 1978 after completing the university's night
school program.

After passing the February, 1979
Ohio
bar examination he accepted a position as a
research attorney
with The Research Group (now the National Legal Research Group),
in Charlottesville, Virginia.
In
February, 1981 Michael accepted a position with a small law firm
in Paulding, Ohio
where he continues in private practice. He has also been the
director of the Paulding County Child Support Enforcement Agency
since September, 1992, and has served as the agency’s attorney
since May, 1989.
Since
entering private practice Michael has researched and written a
brief in support of a Writ of Certiorari for the United States
Supreme Court, and has written briefs and argued in the United
States Sixth Circuit Court in Cincinnati,
Ohio. He has argued motions in the United States District Court,
North Division of Ohio and the United States Bankruptcy Court in
Toledo, Ohio and he has written briefs and argued cases in the
Ohio Supreme Court, the First, Third and Sixth District Court of
Appeals and the Ohio Court of Claims.
Michael
enjoys legal research and is proud of his writing ability.
He
believes that his experience as a research attorney and in legal
research for his clientele in the private practice of law can
